Syniverse is the world’s most connected company, and they offer a variety of products that provide technological enhancements to a wide range of industries.

By partnering with IBM, Syniverse has developed Universal Commerce, a data transmitting platform that utilizes blockchain technology, allowing for all information to remain secure and accounted for throughout each transaction.

Process

The Challenge

Universal Commerce is an algorithm, and our goal was to describe this intangible product. Understanding how it works can be overwhelming to the average consumer, so we needed to take any complications away and make the idea of Universal Commerce easy to digest.

The Approach

For this project, our team adapted an abstract style that consisted solely of squares, circles, typography, and light. We wanted to follow the voice over with smooth animations that would emphasize key words and illustrate how this algorithm would look if it were visible.

The Outcome

The final version of this animation hits the smooth and simple style we were going for. This was a video that was fun to work on from the start because it was such a puzzle, and we were able to push our boundaries and play with something that was less literal.
