The Coffee Fox
The Coffee Fox in Savannah, GA is one of my favorite local coffee shops in the Historic District. The coffee is strong, the hipster vibes are on point, and they have heavenly gluten-free pastries.
Their mascot, Felix, always makes me smile, so I decided to make him strut with the confidence that I know he has.
Process
The Challenge
For this particular assignment, we were designing social media content and were asked to deliver options in HD, square, and vertical formats. We could pick any brand we wanted, and we had full creative freedom.
The Approach
The Coffee Fox has quirky, rustic branding, and so I took this and ran. I took photos of the inside of the shop, paying particular attention to the wood accents and the stickers that stud the walls. Utilizing these photos, I created a runway for Felix to strut across and grab his coffee.
The Outcome
I was very satisfied with how this piece turned out, and it was especially gratifying when The Coffee Fox reposted my animation on their Instagram. As a student, that was the perfect way to receive validation that I had nailed it.
